Good fresh or frozen
The Nantes Scarlet Carrot grows well in our Spokane Valley rocky soil. I planted a lot of carrots so that my family was able to enjoy them fresh as well as frozen in soups and stews during the winter. Enjoyed by all.

Nantes Scarlet Carrot
We live in northern Idaho in a little valley that is hard to grow much of anything in without such things as a greenhouse. That being said I also do not have a green thumb. Last spring we planted these beautiful little carrots from the Heirlooms Evermore Seed Co. in a raised garden bed hoping for something. The little bed is a 4'x4' box & we filled it with several nice little rows of seeds. I was extremely happy when they not only grew very well, but are the nicest & sweetest carrots I am sure I have ever had. They lasted in the ground even after we had our first couple of frosts & when we pulled out more than we could eat once it started snowing, I canned a bunch & they were just as good with flavor & color. Thanks for such a great product! I would give it 10 stars if I could.
