    Zucchini

Dark green color, slightly thick skin on the larger ones so they hold nicely for stuffing and baking. Good flavor. Once they take off there's no stopping production!

    Great gift!

We sent these along with the Basil and Sunflower seeds to my Mother in Law for Mother's Day, and she is so excited to plant them! Tom and Sarah were nice enough to add a note so she knew they were from my husband and me. We're growing a ton of Heirlooms Evermore seeds in our garden, so it will be so fun to grow them along with our family!

    Lots to share!

I planted the zucchini three weeks ahead of the approximate last frost date in 4 inch pots to give them a head start, although sometimes I just direct plant them if I do not have time to get the starts growing. We harvested a steady amount through the season and froze a lot for the winter soups and stews.
